Educational Ministries

EDUCATION MINISTRIES:
Opportunities to learn and teach our faith

ADULT EDUCATION:

  • BIBLE STUDY:
    Occasional Bible studies are held throughout the year. If you are interested in participating contact the parish office.
  • RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults): 
    RCIA is a weekly gathering of people interested in learning about and possibly becoming Catholic. There are presentations and discussions on Catholic beliefs and teachings. RCIA also helps Catholics who have not received First Communion and/or Confirmation. For more information contact the pastor.

YOUTH EDUCATION:

  • PREP (Parish Religious Education Program): 
    Teachers and aides (high school students and young adults are especially welcome) are needed for classes on Sunday mornings and Monday & Tuesday evenings, September – May, and must complete Child Protection training as required by the Diocese of Allentown.

Sunday Morning, 9:30 a.m. – 10:30a.m., grades K – 2
Monday Evening, 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., grades 3 – 5
Tuesday Evening, 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., grades 6 – 7 & Confirmation 

All Classes are held in the Parish Center

  • YOUTH GROUP:
    Youth Group is open to teenagers in high school and consists of service programs, educational opportunities, and recreational activities.  We are currently in need of two adults to coordinate this program. If interested please contact Fr. Tom or call the parish office.
